Slide Path in the Wildkogel-Arena

Hiking adventure for the whole family – 10 slides, 100% fun!

Laughing, hiking, and sliding:
The Rutschenweg ("Slide Trail") at the mid-station of the Wildkogelbahn is the perfect excursion destination for families. On ten exciting slides, a day of hiking in the Salzburg mountains becomes an unforgettable adventure!

From May to October, the Wildkogel Arena in the Salzburg region offers families an unforgettable summer and autumn experience: the unique Slide Path starting at the Wildkogelbahn mid-station. This special hiking trail combines natural beauty with pure sliding fun and delights both young and old adventurers alike.

Along the way to the Gasthof Stockenbaum, ten spectacular stainless steel slides – each between 22 and 53 meters long – provide plenty of action and excitement. With a sliding mat, you zoom through tunnels, waves, and hollows. The free-fall slide is a must-try for the bravest, guaranteeing goosebumps and surprised screams!

The starting point, the mid-station of the Wildkogelbahn, is easily accessible by gondola. Alternatively, you can hike to the mid-station via the Panorama Trail or the Mid-Station Trail.

After completing the Slide Trail, you can return to the center of Neukirchen either comfortably by hiking bus or actively on foot via the approximately 1.1 km long Adler Toni Trail, featuring nine exciting adventure stations.

Experience a unique family adventure – the Slide Trail in the Wildkogel Arena is a highlight you won't want to miss!
