Cross-country skiing in Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region
Enjoy refreshing outdoor activity on the XC trails in Neukirchen and Bramberg!
If, during your winter holidays, you would like to glide on XC skis through our snowy-white countryside and discover the idyllic Hohe Tauern National Park Region "under your own steam" in the process, you can look forward to a total of 30 km of beautifully maintained and tracked cross-country trails in the Wildkogel Arena.
During their cross-country skiing vacations in Neukirchen and Bramberg, our guests love, above all, being able to discover the beautiful countryside betwen the KitzbĂĽhel Alps and Hohe Tauern National Park, including views of the imposing Grossvenediger, the tallest of the Salzburg peaks.
One cross-country highlight is the "Pinzgau Loipe", a trail that allows you to explore the entire Salzach Valley out towards Krimml (home to the world-famous Krimml Waterfalls), or in the direction of Mittersill and Zell am See. You can then return however you prefer, including by ski bus or the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn train.
