Paragliding in Pinzgau

Soaring through the air and enjoying the breathtaking panoramas

With the adrenaline pumping through your veins, take off at elevations ranging from 800 to 2300 meters above sea level. Once in the air, feel as free as an eagle, look down on the glorious nature of the Wildkogel Arena below, and finally return to terra firma on a broad landing field - Paragliding in Pinzgau is especially appealing because of the good thermals and great views, both to experienced paragliders as well as those wanting to try out this exciting sport for the very first time.

A state-certified civil-aviation school, the Pinzgau Flight School, is located in the Wildkogel Arena between Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbühel Alps, also featuring practice areas in Bramberg, Neukirchen and Piesendorf. Aside from paragliding sampler lessons, along with 3-day courses and complete beginners' programs, they also offer tandem flights. These are ideal for you, if you want to try out paragliding in Pinzgau just the once, but don't have any actual flight time of your own. In this case, an experienced, certified tandem pilot will take you on a safe flight from the mountains down to the valley.

Paragliding in Pinzgau is one of those experiences that is certain to leave you with lasting memories!

Pinzgau Flight School

From the summit, glide silently down towards the valley far below. Feel the updrafts as you soar above the mountaintops of the Wildkogel – during a tandem flight, you will get to enjoy the Wildkogel-Arena from an eagle’s-eye perspective.

A state-certified tandem pilot from Pinzgau Flight School will skillfully steer the paraglider with you even perched up front – a 1300-meter descent promises an exhilarating experience you will never forget.
